The first-mover advantage could be important to both DraftKings and BetRivers. But Indiana is expected to approve more online sportsbooks in short order. If that s the case, you should expect the best brands and the companies spending the most money on marketing to ascend to the top. That s what has happened in other states new to online sports betting.

The Betriver app is poorly designed and not user friendly at all. It appears to have been created by people that have never bet sports. Why would the casino in French Lick partner with this operation out of Pittsburgh? It seems as if the casinos of Indiana were not only not prepared for legal sports gambling but not very interested. I have worked and played in the sports gambling industry for over 30 years and I guess I expected more when Indiana casinos were awarded the gift of legalized sports betting. Time will tell if they can turn it around but right now they are failing. Hour waits in line to bet is not acceptable and this Betriver app is also unacceptable.
